Usurping Detroit's assets is an misguided attempt. No one has the power or authority to do so. The City's assets are not the material things or even money accumulated through its citizens' labor for generations. Take it all and Detroit still has infinite potential. When will the material-minded realize that the talent, true energy, power, and authority in Detroit is deep within its people, untapped, unbossed and uncompromised. We have nothing to fear as we remain sovereign in our righteousness and innocence. Breakers may dash and thunder may roll, but his truth will march on forever. Our minds are unchained. God has worked a new thing in us. Nothing is the same as before except for the wonderful variety of skin tones that have always represented our people. Nothing can staunch the flow of positive change.
